Day of Filming

Today we filmed all the footage we need to make our film. We looked for pictures of hearts we wanted the drawing to look like and showed them to our artist, Charlie. These are a selection we gave her so she had an idea of what we wanted.
























We then set up a studio, this involved hanging black sheets from my ceiling to black out the area and making sure the camera would not see any other backround.

We had one camera set up on a tripod but left the other handheld for some close up shots, which we will then edit in to make the film more interesting.

We filmed about half an hours footage of her drawing the heart. One angle was completely straight on, on the tripod as to have a continous stream of filming.


We made sure she drew the heart with a thick, black outline as we are hoping to animate it beating at the end of our film. This we will try and do in either Final Cut Pro or After Effects. This is what the final drawing looks like.
