Finalised Video Ideas

We have finally planned out when our video is to be filmed and what it will involve. My flatmate, Charlie, does a degree in Graphic Design and is a keen artist. She is really good at drawing and we have decided to use her work in our film. We wanted to stick with the idea of filming something being created, just as it is in 'Blow Up' and flash mobbing. This time though it will be a drawing and to stick with to something being created and coming alive, we have chosen to ask her to draw a heart. This will enable us to possibly use animation towards the end of the film and make the heart picture beat.
Louise is keen to use music in this film and we all feel it should relate to the topic matter. However, we think because the video content might be quite simple, editing must be more complex so the song must have an interesting beat to reflect the heart but also allow us to edit along to it. I had the idea of using this song by Chemical Brothers as it has such a good beat which could make editing really interesting.



It doesn't however, relate to the content of the video much as it is only instrumental. I think it is a reasonable back up though and we might end up using it if nothing better arises.
