My inspirations come from my interest in 1960s culture. I have been going to a monthly night called Brighton Beach for a while because it is also run in my home town of Sheffield having been created in Leeds. Relating to actual Brighton Beach, the mods and rockers conflict, it plays music from 60s soul to modern day indie.
Many films have also inspired my love of the 1960s. Films such as 'Blow Up' and 'Quadrophenia' show both the music, fashion and art scene of the time.
